The forest cuts and the multiplication of agricultural lands have been favourable to this gracious animal, quite abundant in North America. One can see deer mainly in the morning and at sunset. During the day, they rest and digest the food. Except in winter, they rarely travel with more than three: the female and two fawns. The female does not have anlers. Males get the antlers a few months after birth, fall in winter and reappear inthe spring.
