The Pine Siskin looks like a small dull-coloured Goldfinch with many dark stripes running over it from bill to tail, above and below. It breeds in Northern Quebec to the Arctic Circle and visits Breeches in the Autumn and Spring, in company with the Goldfinches that it so much resembles. Always look at a flock of Goldfinches in Winter. They may turn out to be Pine Siskins.
