Characteristics: long, tapered body; brown fur in summer, white in winter, black tuft at the end of the tail.
Habitat: Forests near water
This little mammal is agile and fierce. Its tapered body moves with great agility to find small rodents as prey. Easily climbs trees and kills squirrels and chipmunks. Its fur changes colour twice a year in spring and autumn.
